Participants must:
- Be over 16 years of age.
- Be in a fit physical condition.
- Have reasonable walking experience.
- Have wind and waterproof clothing & wear suitable footwear.
- Bring a fully charged mobile phone.
- Sign in at the start and finish check points on the day.
- Pay the entry fee in advance (booking is online only, see booking options below).
Note: Strictly no dogs (or other animals) allowed. It doesn’t matter how placid, gorgeous or in need of exercise they are, we can’t accommodate them on buses and are not insured to deal with them along the route.
If the event has to be cancelled for reasons outside of the control of Knockmealdown Active, those who have booked will be issued with a full refund, less a small handling fee.
What is Covered in the token fee:
Payment covers buses to take walkers to the walk start, team leaders and medics on hand during the event. It also includes refreshments before and after the event. Walkers should make sure to bring snacks and drinks to last for the duration of the event.
Token Prices
Tokens for Single Stages cost €45 per stage, plus Stripe/PayPal fees.
Tokens for All Five Stages cost €200, plus Stripe/PayPal fees.
The associated Stripe/PayPal fees are outlined on the cart before you checkout.
Using the Tokens
Use of the tokens is very simple. When booking opens (keep an eye on Facebook.com/StDeclansWay) you can book stages as normal, using the ‘Coupon Code’ you will receive in the box provided at checkout. This will then give you the value of the token/s against your purchase.

When the token/s have been added, go to Your Cart page (or Checkout on the menu above) to review your purchase, pay and check-out. Credit Card options appear on the Checkout page.
You can purchase multiple stages (just purchase as many Single Stage tokens as you need). Just be aware that tokens can only be purchased for a single person at a time. If you wish to purchase them for more than one person you’ll need to start a new transaction for the second and subsequent people for whom you wish to purchase the gift tokens.

Download templates for Deferred Sending or Printing
It is possible to send your token/s to the intended recipient at a time of your choosing, rather than immediately from the system. To do this you should send the token to your own email address (make yourself the recipient). Before purchasing, download one of the templates below. When you’ve purchased the token and received your email, input the recipient’s name, your name and the Coupon Code (which you’ll have received by email). The templates are in Word format. When you’ve inputted the information go to File > Export and create a PDF file. This PDF can then be sent from your computer via email or printed and physically sent by post. Each template has instructions on page 2, remember to delete this second page before you save the PDF. The ‘Multiple Stages Token Template’ is for those who have purchased more than one Single Stage Token.
